If these particles get into the downstream area of a system, damage may occur which could be very expensive in time and materials to repair. A simple solution would be to merely attach one of Flow Ezy’s reusable oil filter magnets, “The Bear Trap”, to “trap” and “hang on to” until the filter is serviced or replaced.  There are two sizes to choose from depending on the size of BT500 - For use on all brands of disposable oil filters that are utilized on domestic and foreign motor vehicles equipped with small engine block eight, six, four, and two cylinder engines.  Also, excellent for four and two cylinder diesel engines, small transmissions, rear-end disposable filters, small fuel filters for marineengines and motorcycles. your spin-on filter can. The BT500 measures 2 1/4” x  2 1/4” and the BT800 which measures 3” x 6”. BT800 - For use on all brands of disposable oil filters, large eight and ten cylinder engines, six, eight, and ten cylinder racing engines, and six cylinder diesel engines. Also, excellent for small block eight cylinder diesel engines, on all brands of disposable fuel, hydraulic, water coolant, and transmission filters for theabove applications.
